It's pretty stupid but it's not as bad as Riddler as many people seem to believe. Steam has a DRM for all of it games, you have to connect to the internet before being able to play any game. The only difference is that if you're connection cuts out you're still able to play.

That's the thing. People are going to miss the ability to play offline.
