It's really not hard to maintain a budget if you know what you're doing. I never dipped into negatives in the betas and I haven't done so in SC4 either which I'd say is marginally harder.
@blockguy: either trade or electronics, or whatever happens to be on my city plot. we'll see. hopefully trade.
