Author Topic: Things you get sick of seeing in Blockland  (Read 24052 times)

Well well well, we meet again.

Yes we should!
Oh wait...
Oh the link-to-your-own-profile joke.
Never gets old.

Oh the link-to-your-own-profile joke.
Never gets old.

That's pretty awesome, I have to admit.
XD

Never gets old.

Bullstuff. This joke has annoyed the hell out of me since i joined.

I'm tired of seeing more that half of the servers in Blockland being dedicated and having 0 players in the server.

When I make a server to get people to help me, they spam bots and test addons.

It's sadder when the server is open and ready for the public and nobody joins, and the community is at fault.

Sort by player count. Problem solved.

I'm sick of people whining about stuff such as:
Minecraft stuff or recreations

Bland Weapon packs

People who whine over hands on weapons

Poor balancing in TDMs

RP servers and Jail Servers (Unless they're done right or something new)

I'm sick of people whining about stuff such as:
Yeah, I'm with you on that.
I'm more annoyed by people constantly complaining about those things than the actual things.

And also people who complain about there being a lack of good servers, and never deciding to make one themselves.
And then they use the excuse "Oh, but everyone will just go to the bad servers because they're popular."
Well, they only get popular because they're being hosted.
Just host your own server with something that interests you, maybe get a friend on there to speed up the rate of people joining (People prefer servers with more people in them than just the host) and carry on from there.
Moaning on the forums isn't going to get more servers that you like available.

realistic models with realistic textures in blockland
freekillers on jail rps
people who spend 3 seconds typing something long
people who call people noobs
people who dont listen to rules
players who wont leave your build when you tell them

People who don't go to page six of this topic to see my list that covers everything ever.

I've had 4 types of servers get populated.
One where I was just sitting there building a project and a bunch of people joined and jumped around and stuff. Got most players on the list. (I have no idea why people came into a server with like, no add-ons, even most of the defaults disabled)
A TDM where you have to destroy the enemy's giant cube thing. (Poorly coded, while it worked flawlessly, you have to set it up right)
A server where everyone has a printer and a paint can, and are stuck in a room filled with print bricks and trust checks disabled. (took 1 console line to set up this one!)
And DRPG. (Though, DRPG servers usually get populated. no surprise.)

None of these were 'what's popular this month!!!' like knife TDMs and speedkarts. People just happened to come and once they come, more will come. It helps if you get a few friends on first, because no stranger likes to be on a 2 person server.
