But you are right, that is the only stated thing in the EULA for the free versions holds on licensing.
I have a hard time believing Unity wouldn't step in on a person making bank (<100,000/fiscal year) on their free engine.

There's no reason to put him down for his efforts. If you doubt him, keep it to yourself. He could end up successful, and if he doesn't, how does it affect you in any way?

Ok, What does the free/pro comparison feature differences have to do with making people broke?
Although it is a shame they made unity4's navmesh stuff pro only, i had fun with that in beta.
And they probably wouldn't find out about a game making <$100k. Plus it shows their logo on start up for free unity games too.
