There is a loving stuffton of games where you have to build bridges. Taking away the flash games reduces this to 1/5, and we're only gonna talk about 4 games. Pontifex, Pontifex 2 (Bridge Construction Set), Bridge It, Bridge Project. There are other games like Bridge! The construction game, and such, but we're gonna talk about these, by Chronic Logic. Pontifex The first game. It only has 3 materials, and uh.. not much else. 48 levels per total. Find it at http://chroniclogic.com/pontifex.htm Bridge Construction Set Also known as Pontifex 2, the sequel to Pontifex added a bunch more materials such as iron, suspension cables and hydraulics. It has 100+ levels, and a bunch more features than the last one. Find it at http://chroniclogic.com/pontifex2.htm Bridge It A version of the previous game with highly enhanced graphics. Originally, the game could only be played on an Nvidia card, but it is now available on ATI cards, since update 1.2. However, this game only has 30 levels, much shorter than the previous. Find it at http://chroniclogic.com/bridgeit.htm Bridge Project The latest of the bunch, Bridge Project has graphics even surpassing Bridge It, and a few more levels, reaching 48 levels, like the original game. Find it at http://chroniclogic.com/bridgeproject.htm Bridge of the day -none- |

There's also Bridge Building Game which is quite simple but quite good. I haven't tried any of these 3D ones but I kept meaning too. |

I did a bridge construction project in high school engineering where there was a contest for the lowest cost of bridge that could still drive a truck over it (it was all done in software). I beat the standing record by almost $100,000 |
