New way to make terrain?

X-Plane:

Could you make a big custom block that is the shape of terrain and stuff? is it possible?

Electrk:

Bricks can only have up to 10 collision boxes so it'd have to be pretty low-detail terrain.

Conan:

No. Too much effort for a small gain.
Modular terrain is the closest you can get

Having a single brik with a single feature/shaping limits the kind of situation it can be used in and forces the textures to either be flat or an annoying brick stud texture warped to fit the shape

Well for one thing, this belongs in suggestions and requests.
And for another, I think Conan misunderstands. Modular terrain isn't the "closest we can get," it is it. Pretty sure that's exactly what OP is asking for.
