I received the email with my key on Fri, Jan 16, 2009 at 2:29 PM. My ID is 10334 so 10k IDs started around the end of 2008.

I bought the game on September 1st 2008, and my ID is 7482. Just under +3000 purchases in 4 and a half months then.

Apparently I joined in November of 2009. I thought it was September. That was probably when I first played the demo.
