Why do people always follow badspot when hes in a server?

I watch a video of like 30 people following badspot and spamming the chat.. Whats the big deal? hes just a person. yeah he created blockland so what? hes just a normal person.

Well I mean its not everyday Badspot will be in a server, maybe some just want to take a screenshot next to him, I know I would just for the fun of it.
Its the same with people and celebrities irl. (although im not that crazy)

i certainly wouldn't completely call him "a normal person", because he's a respected member of the community that he created himself (for obvious reasons)
but i also don't understand what people hope to achieve with following him everywhere. it's like people think it will make them be noticeable, but in reality you're just even more invisible than before.

Hes the creator of the game. I still think its dumb they follow him around like they are dogs and hes a steak.

Like two or three days ago, I can't think right now, he joined Glass' Fort Wars server. I didn't notice, so all I saw was the chat being spammed with kiss-ass remarks without even knowing what was going on.
