I think this show is great. The humor is snappy and I honestly don't mind that it panders heavily to 'geeks'. My sister got a Sheldon Cooper cardboard cut-out for her birthday and it scares the stuff out of my dog.

Seasons 1-3 where good, the recent ones are gradually going downhill, occasionally there's a good episode but most are just the same

Basically this, it also makes teenage girls think that being a nerd is super cool and fun, which makes them think they're smart, which makes them think they know what they're doing to my laptop, which makes them break my laptop.

Im not saying it as an insult, I'm saying it as a medical condition.

1) intensive focus on physics
2) doesn't like to be touched
3) mandatory organization
Though people might like physics, and may not like to be touched and like to be organized, at this severity I would say the character is based around someone with autism or he actually has autism and the show hasn't directly stated it yet.

i heard some people were reaallly confused when they found out sheldon didn't have autism and after watching a few episodes i too am confused
