you're wrong, I don't want to change this into a war of opinions but, the national socialists were a smaller faction in the german ranks although they played a big role it does not mean they represent the country.... in a way they did with their propoganda but mainly this is offencuve to germans in general seeing as its calling them a murederous group of people at the time, as most "national socialists" were trained to hate the jews and their religion,(reffering to Riddlers youth) this is sterotyping which germans do not exactly proud if what their ancestors did. remember not all german soldiers were heartless murderers. also what? you're sterotyoical if you think that calling the country by it's real name means te national socialists are still active, but i think the way to make that better is what kniaz said, like axis vs allies |

--- Quote from: Dr.Block on January 27, 2013, 11:04:08 PM ---Uhh... What? By just calling it Germany, it's like fueling the stereotype that the national socialist party is still prominent in Germany. We aren't talking about a modern day war between the US and Germany, we're talking about WWII. If you call it national socialist, you're fighting the army associated with the national socialist party. If you call it Germany, you're fighting all Germans. It's actually more offensive to call it Germany instead of national socialist. --- End quote --- ya we al know now lets not continue please |
