As long as they are born without a brain I'm chill with it.

What if the brain is the needed part?

the process of creating fossil fuels from the remains of organisms takes a really long time

you can't just like, make more fossils lol
I know that. And if we need more animals to do this, then why not just BREED them? Cloning is not needed.

I don't see how they will manage to do that. All cloning is, is replacing the DNA in a fertilized egg cell.

EDIT: Poll results are now 6 and 9 :P

I know that. By the time we learn how to clone humans a long time will have passed.

uhhh. Then the clone would gain the body of the perso... NO. If you brain dies, replacing it with a new one won't work

I don't think it would be a good idea honestly.

But I'd want a clone of myself for various reasons.
love is one of them I'm guessing

MILLIONS OF YEARS

I can't decide on the matter. But I'd want a clone of myself for various reasons.
I can relate.

Scientists have created a fly with an eye on its leg. [1]

So I'm going to guess sooner or later we will figure this out.

Imagine being born into the world just to be used as spare parts for someone else.
i remember seeing a short film on that
