I actually played the first half by myself, then my little brother insisted I play co-op with him. So I finished it that way. Co-op is very robust, and it isn't intrusive, as long as you have a good partner.
Also, Telemetry gun with diffraction torus (chain-gun riveter) with military core and conical thingymabobber (shotgun) makes best gun. I used the Evangelizer shotty.

Still looking for someone to play hardcore coop with me. stuffs and giggles and jump scares. Will probably record it and upload it to youtubes as well.
