RTB Add-on Idea: RTB's IRC from your phone.

But wait a minute, isn't RTB just some sort of chat server thing. What stops you from just sending a message to the public chat room? Someone said it's not IRC but IIRC now. Is the "IIRC" server hosted on the RTB server now?

Here's roughly how it works, which should explain why it won't work.
* Connect to RTBC server.
* Do a bunch of authentication stuff.
* RTBC server talks with Blockland auth server to see if you've authed successfully in-game.
* If you have, it lets you interact with the system. Otherwise, you just get disconnected with an error.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, we'd definitely need some backend mods to be done before this becomes feasible.

would be neat even if i couldn't use it cause my phone is old
i remember talking in the rtb chat on my phone back when it was still just an IRC
now you can still get to the IRC but there's only a bot or two there, i think

Thank you, I had no idea. I thought it was still using the old IRC. My mistake.
