Why don't baseplates get fakekilled?

Essentially a baseplate is part of the ground, you use it to build on. You can't blow up the ground. If you wanted a build that responded well to being blown up then use smaller bricks. 8x16 should do.

I don't think the bricks on the ground are the problem. It's the ones that make up the floors of multi-story buildings. But I guess using smaller bricks or editing weapon data would work well enough.

I meant essentially a baseplate is like the floor of slate. You can't blow up slate floor. It's something you build on.

But yeah smaller bricks would work better and give a better effect. Smaller bricks will fly into the air instead of one large piece.
