In culinary, I was cooking some vegetables in oil and water splashed into the pan when I put them in (The veggies were frozen). Water and Hot oil aren't friends. Oil flew out of the pan, onto my hand. It burned for 3 hours.
Hah! Once, I was frying wings, and when I turned around my shoulder hit the pan and it hit my forehead. Might not have burned as long, but it HURT LIKE HELL

I was making noodles for pasta, and I accidentally stuck my hand on the burner and my whole hand was a blister.

one time i was cooking some grilled cheese sandwiches and wondered if the stove was hot, i quickly touched the thing that the sandwiches were in to check. It was on, but it wasn't hot enough to out right burn me, but the skin on my thumb has been slightly thicker ever since, making me immune to light burns on that part of my body.
