| Is there any way to increase memory on a server? |

I believe right now a server can use 1.67gb, would there be a way that Badspot could increase it? Doss this have to do with the game engine or something entirely different? Would there be better benefits compared to only having 1.67gb? I am thinking we could probably have more physics vehicles, exploding bricks, and on top having a pretty high brick count, stuff similar to that. Hi Kalph |

Hi Kalph --- End quote --- I've heard somewhere that it's not needed to go over 1.67GB because that's the most you'll need. |

Kalphiter did this. I think he modified a launcher to allocate more memory. Don't ask me how to do it though, I have no idea |

It's a limit due to Blockland being a 32-bit application. If there were 64-bit support, it could use more RAM. But your computer would have to be 64-bit, of course. probably left out some details or got some/all wrong but that's my understanding of it supposedly, you can use a program like CFF Explorer to set the flag that the program can use >2GB of RAM though, but i never did any extensive testing myself |
