I noticed that too, and I thought that it was funny, considering that I payed somewhere between 45-75 dollars for my gun right now (Forgot how much) lol.

That's because $2.95 was like 30 dollars in today's money back in the 1940s

in the 40's 2.95 was expensive because of war time shortages n stuff
