weeping angels are basically a race of aliens set out on harvesting the life force of people. they move extremely quickly, faster than perceivable. their fatal flaw, however, is that whenever a living being sees them, the angel turns to stone. sort of like a reverse-medusa. the way they kill people is by making them go back in time, and simply live until they die.
