Do you play any indie games?

i don't think we should be dividing games into indie/not indie because somehow giving your money to a small  group of greedy people is different from giving money to a large group of greedy people

everyone on this forum has played indie games because blockland is an indie game

i personally play mount and blade and europa universalis 3

then what exactly is it?
i thought it was a genre (but not placed in the same category as action/puzzle/strategy etc.)
