I think the owner of the game can choose whether or not they can use steam workshop, and because Ephi and Badspot are like bff they can decide whether or not to keep RTB's main features.

Wouldnt it be easier for Badspot to work with Ephialtes on building a new version to be integrated into default Blockland, given RTB's current development progress? If so, Ephialtes should have known the reason for RTB not connecting to the auth server.

Aw if thats the case then my other theory that this might be them working on it because  rtb's chat/friend system
isnt as good as steams, although the addon system should still work, but then again, what if we can just get the addons from steam, wouldnt that make RTB then Just Completely obsolete?

blockland possibly coming out on greenlight -> badspot making his own version of rtb (using steamworks) -> have to cut out 3rd party

Steam workshop sucks

This a billion times, the subscription system doesn't even work properly most of the times.


Also where are some people thinking Blockland is going to be completely relying on Steam?
Some people say Blockland wont work without steam, or thats its going to get Voice chat and workshop is going to replace RTB.

Who started these rumors?Badspot himself said it was just going to be an alternative way to buy Blockland instead of buying it from the website.
