Dedicated server still running, but the server console is closed?

I was testing out my dedicated server. I had loaded blockland, started a server, and ran the console. I exited my server, exited blockland, reopened blockland, and rejoined the server. It had worked. I had then exited my blockland, and then I closed down my dedicated server console, and then I loaded up my blockland again. When I was looking for servers, I noticed my server was still there. So I attempted to join it. But I couldn't.
