The hosting service is strong with this one.

Glad you're enjoying it.
The weapons ARE balanced, you can trade teams easily if you wanna buy some other weapons.

I would like to see people asking to make me some vehicles/weapons which would help the server.
Im even thinking of making a Tattooine version of battlefront, but would need a stronger build team.
Badger:
wow, I remember making the wampa cave.... I went out to do something and someone put the wampa inside when I wasn't looking, it scared the crap out of me.

The server was an absolute load of fun tonight.
And I don't think I saw it drop below 30 players.

There were some brilliant moments with absolutely epic conflicts.
Although there is some argument that the weapons are a bit unbalanced (The Rebel explosive weapons for 1k was unlocked by some people and used to devestating effect), and the ability to swap teams to gain other weapons isn't quite well known, nor are swaps guaranteed.
But generally, there was great use of the Trench system to build fortifications and all sorts.

The key spots for battle seemed constantly to be the Wampa cave, the Ion Cannon and outside the Rebel base.
There were multiple moments in time where great rushes of players from both sides met in amazing conflicts in these locations.
Much of the rest of the map was relatively unused, but there were occasional moments when battle spread over into different areas.

Although the pictures aren't perfect, a couple of moments were recorded;

The Millenium Falcon becomes a battlezone as troopers of the Galactic Empire make their way to claim the location for their own side.

A final moment of defiance led by a brave Rebel Trooper as he lays down his life to hold on to the Rebel Capture Point for as long as possible.

A squadron of Imperial Troopers lead a charge on the unsuspecting Rebel Base, as they use the confusion of a battle elsewhere to ambush the Rebel forces.

The brave Rebel Soldiers collect themselves and push against the force of invading Imperials.

The might of the Rebel Army and the loyal soldiers within is underestimated by the Imperial Troopers. After a massive conflict around the fortifications of the Rebel Base, the Imperials are pushed back, and the battle returns to the Ion Cannon.

Oh god, this brings back memories from when I was 10 and I used to play this game on my PS3 against the AIs.

(I had no friends...)

Wow, this is really fun.  I was playing SWBF2 just a couple days ago.  This is awesome.
