Another thing to add that I tend to see every now and then.
Arguing on the internet is like a shootout near the end of the world. There's almost no point to it.
So if someone calls you a name, pisses you off, makes fun of you or anything that just generally aggrivates you...
Ignore them and move on.

Catfish:

Do all these things only apply to new people? Because I see many long time established users breaking all of these fake rules and no one cares.
Are you guys just looking to raise some peons to happily remain beneath YOU? This topic is clearly all about buying acceptance.

The only way to be cool here is to spend weeks/months making something that is new, creative, innovative, and interesting.

Also being nice helps.
