I mostly play with Gravity Cat so the money problem isn't that much of an issue.

Just play really aggressive to get the cash, it's a lot of fun running around and slaughtering zeds with the smgs.

I heal team mates as an off-thing, if they need constant healing they're usually doing something very wrong like rushing headfirst into a group of zeds.
