Why are you so picky about voices, then?
Because the voice + personality is a make or break situation for a let's play channel. In Let's plays, the game does 90% of the work. If the player(s) aren't interesting or enjoyable to listen to, then you're watching a normal person play a game, which you yourself could do. There's no reason to watch someone who speak like their mouth is full of nutella and is uncertain and unconfident about what they are going to say next when we would get exactly the same content from someone who is cool, confident, and is pleasant to listen to.

Basically, a let's play is a lot like a cover album. You don't do the bulk of the work, so if you're not nice to listen to we might as well go to the original.

Play Surgeon simulator, unless you think it's too cliche or something. Have fun trying to grab anything without accidentally stabbing your patient in the throat.

This is pretty terrible, and I'm not usually that critical about Youtube videos.

Here's what you can do to fix it:
  • Stop mumbling and only talk when it's necessary
  • Get nasal spray and blow your loving nose so that I don't have to hear you sniff mucus into your sinuses
  • Get a popguard and a stationary mic so that your audio quality is better
  • Get a better graphics card or optimize the game so that you can record at more than 25 FPS

also i'd loosely script your episodes. not down to the every line, but have a basic plan of what to talk about and what to do in the game. it will sound much more interesting and better if you know what you're going to do and when.

Brilliant idea, my friend! Thank you!

Aren't you a beginner too? If you are, like you said, you aren't really in a position to talk.
