I do agree it is annoying having to go slow in a racing game, I just wanted a different experience from the other default tracks and this is mostly to add variety to what becomes a stale gamemode after playing the same two tracks over and over. My next track should be much more speed friendly. /teasers

(It could be worse, I deleted more than 75% of the bumps that existed in the original corse. :P  )

Because nothing is ever good enough for you
Woa that was uncalled for
Im pretty sure people make topics about their builds so they can get feedback and recognition.
Constructive criticism is a form of feedback, and he didnt even say it in a mean way. I really hope your not just butthurt that he said your speedcarts are slightly flawed.

Where did that come from?  He gave totally constructive criticism.  Not a single negative comment on his part.

Also: If the race is as hard as Mr Nobody says it is, I'll probs make edits to it for my serv's use :P

If you train on it it's not hard anymore, for example those shortcuts on the Beach track were impossible for me at the begining, then I trained and it was easy

Jesus christ the cave is so hard haha

Idk, it's really hard, especially since prior to that theres not much to kill people off and there will probably be at least 15 people going in there at once (assuming it's a full server)

I must say though: The atmosphere on this track is loving amazing

anybody realize this is in the wrong section lol

All I want is a racetrack that I can go fast and have fun doing so on and, you know, race. I don't like having to slow to a near stopped speed in order to not die.
And admit it. The Speedcarts dont react well in tight spaces.

I really enjoy this track, just not how ungody difficult it is.

I know what you mean.  Have you ever tried the astros?  It handles incredibly well, only it doesn't go as fast as the speed cart.  Someone just needs to give the speed cart the handling of the astros.

well, wouldn't that be the speedkart's fault instead of this map?

It made sense to put it here because it goes in the add-on folder and I will be making more.

Uh... Yeah? That's kind of a point I was making, however the track doesn't help.
It's not the carts fault if the track doesn't accommodate to its flaws. Both are at fault here but the build would be the easiest to fix.

I don't understand anything you post Yosher..

I actually really enjoy this map the way it is.  It's kinda fun to play a strictly challenge map after playing a few speed-based maps.

You just can't treat this like a speed map, you have to treat it like a jump challenge or something similar.

It's also sustained 8 10 players so far and there's been an actual winner to the finish line almost every round

From what I've seen, Ladios has edited the track. When I first posted, death rates on the track were about one winner per 20 races which was absurd. Only certain carts that weren't prone to bounce when landing flat could complete the track effectively.

I was there to see that part get fixed so it is much easier and possible for novice racers.

yeah, that's true i guess.
