don't you think BL physics are a bit too "bouncy"?

You're misinterpreting this Scratch. Here is my original post when I first uploaded that picture:

--- Quote ---Didn't know where else to put this, but since this is the most recent thread in the Development board, it should do. I just don't feel like this deserves its own topic.

Anyways, someone in Badspot's server was asking him about vehicle physics getting fixed. I'm not sure if this is new or anything, but he briefly explained what he has to do to fix them. In no way is this supposed to mean he is working on them, or plans to do it anytime soon - I just thought it was interesting.

But that's basically it.

The topic is locked now, and I don't feel like wasting my time looking for an epoch converter that actually can convert time correctly. In-case you're wondering why the quote looks like something I made up just now.

Someone simply asked him about vehicle physics, and he responded. He knows what he has to do, but it's not very simple for him to do it with the networking issues and collision code needing to be rewritten. As mentioned in another topic, it's more likely we'll get AI before fixed physics considering the AI is easier to do from the sounds of things.

Vehicles also go through bricks with no rendering and no raycasting. Even if they have collision. And they sometimes go through slanted terrain bricks.

This.

I'm not really sure why, but I thought that vehicles colliding on raycasting rather than collision was intended.
