Jaydee's ship is a good example of how not blocky it can look.

Who knows what this thing is. It's in a dungeon that is filled with floating crystals and weird purple robot men (not glitch). Last time I came across one, I pressed E on it and it killed me instantly and slammed shut. I'm thinking it's just another type of thing that gives you a random buff but I just want to make sure. I also cannot find anything about it or this type of dungeon. Nevermind it's a matter generator!

I haven't seen his ship, and I would say the only good ship made with that mod was some Borg ship

It doesn't have to be blocky.
