Picked up a weird radio signal...

I Downloaded a Shortwave Radio app on my iPod, I'm on 3401.8 Khz LSB (3000HZ) and I hear a person with a British-type voice saying "Sugar Norway 3 X-Ray.. Delta Two Charlie, Charlie Mexico your 2-9-5, 3 X-Ray.. Sugar Norway 3 X-Ray". You can also hear a voice in the background saying "Mexico, 1-9-2-4" and other types of stuff, like they're communicating. What I find strange is that it's on a loop

I live in Virginia, USA and I have no clue what it could mean.

Any guesses?

Eh, some fake app that tries to scare you.
That's why it's a loop.

An old number station lol

Look up number radio stations on wiki or something its some secret code they used back in the cold war

I don't think Mexico and Norway would be used in a phonetic alphabet.

That's what it sounds like they're saying..

I'm uploading some of it that I recorded so you can try to tell what it is.

He's not saying Norway, he's saying runway.

You're picking up the air traffic control radio from a nearby airport or military base.

For some reason, I was reminded of the "backwards music station"

It's pretty clear he's saying "Norway".

Sounds like "Sugar runway 3" to me, which makes far more sense than "Sugar Norway 3"
