Cool idea

Hello. I was wondering if someone could make a model and someone could script a good idea for an addon.
I thought it would be a cool idea for someone to make turntables along the lines of this: http://82muchf00d.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/turntable.jpg
I would like it to be able to play or even have effects on music loops IF POSSIBLE. Events for the turntable would be good too.
I would like to call out to demian who does a good job modeling. Maybe he could help if someone could reach him.

Reason: good for deadmau5 concerts and lots of other music purposes

anyways you probably could just make this out of bricks although it might not look as detailed
