do you have youtube changed too? or google?
there are themes for basically every relatively popular website out there nowadays.
how do any of these themes change that? changing light blue to light green or red or yellow (or everything to black) isn't exactly spicing things up
you only look at the colors.
the original theme is just a bunch of blue and white boxes surrounded in black outlines with some ugly-ass grainy blue bar stuff
Blockland Steam changes the title bar so it now scrolls with the page, removes the image on the left in the title bar, centers your user information, changes the color scheme in general to something more appealing and familiar, adds a stuffton of drop shadows, notably on avatars, while also adding rounded corners to said avatars, and adding a simplistic shine effect to some webpage elements.
Blockland Light (2, i don't like to speak of 1), the theme i'm using now, changes the color scheme, but only slighly. in fact, if it only changed the colors, it wouldn't be very distinguishable from the default theme. this theme changes the background to a diagonal semi-transparent white stripes pattern, adds a beveled effect to basically every box to make everything pop out, remove that gayass grainy image thing that i mentioned before, and adds a drop shadow to the website header.
right now you're acting like one of those old-timey folks with an extremely low attention to detail and a closed mind.
>implying the default theme barely works
i'm exaggerating here
i was aware that the default theme works fine, i was making the point in that it could be much, much better.
