Just realized GTA V is in Los Santos, but so is Grove Street!

Awdax:
GTA IV was the second reboot for the series. It takes place in a universe separate from the 2D Era, and the 3D Era. The only things that can cross over are businesses and people on the radio, because they aren't physical beings that interact with the story and history. GTA IV and V are in the HD Era. To be honest, I think this may be the last reboot the series will get.

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a street that looks like Grove Street - like an easter egg. I'm pretty sure there's a mansion in GTA IV that resembles a mansion (I think Salvatore's?) from GTA III, but story-wise, they weren't the same thing.

gta iv was some stupid stuff. i think they were just testing the new engine and such. don't get me wrong, i think that the story was nice and everything, but for console users, there was literally nothing exciting to do after, except get chased by cops. they couldn't even give people the pleasure to be able to use all the weapons from other episodes if you purchased them. along with that, i was really looking forward to driving a buzzard with niko.

i completely forgot everything related to san andreas, if i even paid attention. when i was 10, i wasn't even doing the story, i was just using cheats and hijacking trains. the only reason i didn't get bored of a small area to play in was because my sister would do missions and unlock more of san andreas.

GTA V has GTA SA landmarks, like the tallest building in the whole map, in Downtown Los Santos, and all the piers in the beach are replicated in the exact same spot. I'm sure Grove Street will still be there, along with all the houses, but the gang presence won't be, the Grove Street Gang and the Ballas won't be there.
