You're over-exaggerating every attempt to get the game out there. Sensible people want the community to grow and prosper by any means necessary.
The only thing that I can think of describing as shoving down people's throats, it would be the recent spamming of that one guy's video on youtube, but that was just mainly trolls spamming.

These are living, breathing people you're talking about. You can't generalize every new member just because they're loving new to the game.

Yes kinetic. Lets not have any new players or original servers. Lets just prevent people from playing the game until everyone gets bored and leaves the game.
