Author Topic: There should really be a online MMO similar to Animal Crossing.  (Read 1335 times)

I've been looking for one, and oddly there are none!  :panda:

Nintendo should make the effort to make one. The closest you can get to Animal Crossing online is The
Sims, but it's nothing like it really but it is the closest online game to it.

I've seen that before, it's not an actual online version of Animal Crossing.

It's just an unfinished site.

how would it work, though?
like, do you come together with 3 friends or 3 random people and just live in a town together?
i can see issues with that such as like, people being starfishs and destroying everything

that seems like a really bad RP website

Probably.
I'd totally buy a WiiU if the next Animal Crossing had such a town-sharing feature.

I'd buy the stuff out of that WiiU

I've always wondered why there aren't that many games similar to Animal Crossing, it's a pretty successful and iconic franchise. It wouldn't be hard to make a similar game with a totally different art style and tone, and then sell it.

All you had to do was start with the furniture buying thing, then you can add fishing and bug catching.

copyright issues, guys?

i'm pretty sure that'd be the reason but i'm not completely sure

with that aside why doesn't nintendo loving do it i mean god damn ????

Nintendo doesn't think there is a market for it.

But there is an online pokemon game and i dont think it has run into any issues.

Because all other countries companies add gay ass micro transactions and other day 1 DLC bullstuff into them.

EDIT: Ah stuff, why did i type "countries"? What a funny mistake.

Anything by EA. Probably the most similiar game to Animal Crossing that already exists is Sims, and that is exactly that.
