Nintendo doesn't think there is a market for it.

But there is an online pokemon game and i dont think it has run into any issues.

Because all other countries companies add gay ass micro transactions and other day 1 DLC bullstuff into them.

Anything by EA. Probably the most similiar game to Animal Crossing that already exists is Sims, and that is exactly that.
