The i5 2500K and the Hyper 212 series are a match made in heaven - direct contact heatsink plus ridiculously bad temperatures from an overclocked chip!

2500K here as well. I use an H100 from Corsair. It's worse than a Hyper 212 - and it's $80 more...

i need like 6 inches of space between the keyboard/mouse and edge of desk in front of them.

for like competitive gaming, i need a good angle for my arms on the table, i cant just hover them in air in front of me lol.
