Blockland mod market system?

I'm sure this has been suggested before, but why not create an enviornment to allow us to buy/sell mods to the game (Obviously make it so we couldn't just share the mod files...)? I know that I would be willing to shell out some cash for a great mod, and it would surely spawn more great mods that we can only dream about right now. Badspot could even make more cash, by charging some percent for each mod sold. I think that if any mod right now deserving of making cash, it would be RTB.

On a side note, can we charge people to join our servers? If so, more people should create awsome servers so that I can give them my cash to pay to play :D.

Just to put this in a general plan.

1. Addons that were sold would not be pirated, becuase the mods would be using a key system like Blocklands
2. Remember that only Addons that are high quaility will be sold, because no one would pay for the lower quality ones.
3. Just because you see that people right now are creating free addons, doesn't mean that there isn't potential for amazing thigns to be made.
4. At most, people who sell addons probley would charge 1 - 5$.
5. Yes, its free to make software. No, its not generaly free to make quality software.
6. If all software was free, we would have less quality and less software.
7. Money is a good motivater.
8. Money means people can use developing addons for blockland as a job, meaning they can make more money, spend more time developing (Meaning more profecciency), and create cool things :D.
9. More cool stuff means our community will grow larger, and more active members will be on.

NOBODY will pay crap to join a freaking server
those "awesome" servers will be EMPTY
EMPTYYYY

infact, lets say that ALL the addons right now you need to pay for
there are 2 things that would happen
1: nobody will get mods
2: there will literally be a black market where people send copies of the add ons to other people so others can get it for free

lets say that all the servers riight now you need to pay to play
those servers
will be empty
since theres no servers to play crap
people get un interested and stop playing
less people join
less income
blockland is dead

Well the fun thing about our economy, is that you don't have to pay for things if you don't want them. If we could pay for mods (and have a nice system so people couldn't steal mods as easily) there would be more incentives for people to work harder to create better things.

Point and case, does anyone seriously think that vanilla Blockland was better then having Retail blockland? I also doubt that Badspot would have made retail blockland for free...

Also, not all mods would cost money.

The intresting thing about software is that even though people can make money off of things, there is also free software (such as paint.net). Free software is not often as nice as pay to use software. (Paint.net vs Adobe's PhotoShop).

On the issue of all servers being pay to play: Well uh, they don't have to be. The option would be there for people to charge money to play on their server. People would be like, oh hey, no ones comming on my server, well ok I'm not going to charge a price then.

But then there will be the fun servers (Like mr.Wallets servers) where people will be like "I want to play O:, here take monies and let me play on your server!!!!!one#@!!one!!".

Just because yall wouldn't pay money for nice things, doesn't mean that others wont.
