| Blockland mod market system? |

| Perlin Noise:
No one would buy mods and any mod sold with end up with someone just making the same thing but free. and mods would be sent around, no matter what you do. there is no way to determine if someone bought a mod or didn't, because the only realistic way would be to track every mod and to store whether or not the person bought it, which would make development impossible. good job, you just made the stufftiest concept since the Westboro Baptist Church |

Obviously if it was implemented, the only way for it to work would be for Badspot to make some kind of system where you would need a key to play the mod, just like you need a key to play blockland. |

I thought that the whole point of selling plugins and modifications for programs was so developers can keep developing for professional programs like Sony Vegas or FL Studio. |

It makes me sad to see that you guys think free is best. Free is the enemy of quality. If we want quality mods, we need them to cost money. There will still be our medicore addons (no offence to the scripters :p) for free, and again, other games do the same thing and its proven to work. Name one person who is willing to spend 7+ hours a day developing something for free, while having an income of 0$. Quality isn't free. Heck, mods can even be better then the original game its self. |
