Blockland mod market system?

Your argument is based around money but it's loving stupid because NONE OF THE ADD-ON MAKERS IN OUR COMMUNITY ARE BITCHING ABOUT HOW POOR THEY ARE.
No one is doing it as a loving job. The only one who should be getting paid is Badspot because he made the loving game. forget anyone who thinks their mod should be entitled to earn any money.
Money as a motivation promotes bad practice. Our add-on makers don't do it for money they do it because they want to make something FUN.
Do you seriously think Badspot woke up one morning and thought to himself "well stuff I sure am poor, time to make a game about building with loving legos"?? NO!

Uh yeah no ones doing it for money because there is no good system in place. I guess you missed the part in my Original post about Badspot working out a deal with the developers(If they even legaly have to)? Money as a motivation promotes bad practice? lol? I guess motivating people to work for a job is bad? Even communists know that people need money in order to work.
Yes, people are doing it for fun. And yes, we would have more fun stuff if people earned money while making the fun stuff.
So your saying, screw any one that thinks they should be paid for their intellectual property? Thats a joke man.
SpreadsPlague, I think the dumbest thing you said was about badspot making a game because he was poor. Guess what, people make things for money, often times because they have to. (And yes, people make things for free as well) Whether or not he wanted to make Blockland( which I'm sure he did), he needs a way to support him self and had to make money off of blockland (Unless of course there are unseen variables such as him having a girlfriend, family, wife, who ever that could support him...)
Most garbage men don't go to work and say "I sure do love collecting peoples trash, I'm going to go and enjoy my self today! Screw money!". They need a serious motivation to go collect garbage.
I think what you don't understand is, we would still have free addons but we would also have addons people would make for the sole purpose of making money, that we would never get if people weren't going to make $$ off of.
