http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/project-onSo, this guy has created a project on Indiegogo (why he didn't use Kickstarter, I don't know) in which he is developing an advanced personal assistant AI (eat a richard, Siri) that gets to know you and learns your personality and habits.
Then, the AI will make sure that you receive ads that are relevant to you.
(along with doing all the other badass AI stuff, like managing your schedules, creating suggestions based on what you're doing and where you are, and stuff like that)
Because advertising companies will pay TOP dollar for getting their ads to the right places, your phone bill can become virtually free.
This guy hasn't gained much attention because he's not that good at marketing his project.
