Don't listen to these morons, making a fake server title is a very unreliable, short term solution. What you need to do is join the top few servers and find the good things that they all have in common. (Good builds, administration, Add ons, ideas, gameplay, etc). After you have found the common reasons why the server is drawing in players, go back to the one you enjoyed the most, and after playing it for a bit, find every flaw you possibly can with the server. Go into single player and build your own build for the same type of server, and with the build/ideas you have, fix the flaws you found with the other servers, and host your version. Doing this, will ensure you a long term server success solution.

yeah except
the top servers right now aren't actually very good
i mean, it's usually renderman hunts, family rps, city rps, freebuilds, and others
and some aren't very good with spammy builds, bad administration, or just boring
also all of them are dedicated

Try putting alts in your server so it makes it look like there are bunch of people.

also changing the server title doesn't work very well
you end up getting a few people who join for the first thing, then when you change it to the second thing they all leave

You were hosting on a Monday and you didn't have it up very long. Weekends tend to get better traffic.

Give up. Servers that actually have good ideas never get publicity. People have actually stolen ideas I had and now they get hundreds of players.
