This is why I just stick to PS3. No wonder PC gaming communities are dying.

I could get a super PC for 3,000 dollars or I can get the PS4 for around 400 dollars and be able to afford a car for my life.

Consoles only pwn the first few years they come out then they slowly die and suffocate to the new PC hardware that comes out. So like 2 years you're entrepreneur in with the PS3 but then dead for like 5 years waiting for PS4.

pc hardware is 5x more expensive than ps3 - 4 hardware and you get the same quality on both

the number of transistors is till going to double every 2 or 3 years according to moore, up until 2015 to 2020 probably, so I guess graphics can still be improved

but by then multiple new technologies like 3 dimensional transistors will be invented, and graphics will be extreme. And new technologies like the oculus rift will make this even better, so i think graphics still have a long way to go

Most console games are on lower settings because the system simply isn't powerful enough.
Look at a comparison between Battlefield 3 on the console and on a high-end PC. I find it hard to play console games now. It's just so ugly.

Screw graphics, I prefer PC over console for mods.

I know for a fact you can't get cat zombies on L4D2 on Xbox 360.

But the little extra prettiness is nice.
