ChocoCity is a City RPG Mod I decided to create, after talking about how easy it would be to make one.

Beta Testing
Beta Testing will be hosted, for the public once the script is Stable.
For now, it is private, and only a selected few will be able to enter.
Giving out the server password will result in a ban for the beta testing period.

for this to actually be good, make 0% of it automatic
make everything be run by the players

for example, there should be no "default" bank
it should be up to the players to start bank companies

Yeah, this was an idea I had as well for a while, this please.

Although, it would seem stupid, and corruption would explode.

It doesn't make a difference whether you re-write it or not if the outcome is the same!

Use some creativity man!

Let players have true control, versus the mod, it enhances the gameplay sooooo much.

While your idea is good Port, but like Derroith said, there would be corruption.
You couldn't trust no one with thousands of dollars.

I am planning to add Player Owned Business (POB), for example, an airline service, where you will be able to employ pilots.
There will still be jobs as usual, but when you get a high enough money, you can become a business owner, create jobs for your company that others could apply for.

it shouldn't just be "type /job xx" and magically get money every once in a while
you'd need to find a player-owned company, apply for a job and then maybe succeed
after that it'd be up to that company to pay you with their own resources
and, of course, you'd have to actually do something for that company

If that where to be the case, then how would the first company be created, there wouldn't be a way to get money.

I think there should still at least be some jobs that is already made.
Cause if creating a company would be free, everyone would have their own, and not want to work at others.

Also, I already have a plan about how you do stuff for your company in order to get paid.

Coding is only one third of the work.

Getting it right is at least another third.

the last third consists of building, execution, etc.

It doesn't matter if you're the best goshdang coder in the BL modding community, your work is pointless if you can't get it right.
