I can try. I usually like full screen but it does get annoying sometimes.

I always play in windowed mode regardless of anything.
A lot of times, full-screen doesn't work too well for me (sometimes it does).
I recommend changing the display of your BL launcher in "Options" on the BL program below "Join a Server".
