I have never cried over any piece of media, to be honest. I'm pretty sure I have never even came close to crying. Not even when I was younger.

I mean, I don't actually know who dave neihaus is (besides being a baseball announcer)
but I know he's dead
and that's really all it took for me

you know the only mackelmore song that really made be sad was the one about the guy addicted to the "pink stuff". i forgot what drug that is but it was a sad song

the first song I linked, I guess, is a lot more effective if you're kinda in such a situation
I mean, I've yet to be limited from marrying someone
but... just the idea of it

but that one is sad too, I had forgotten about it
despite him being recently most known for such a silly song as thrift shop (even though that song actually has a nice meaning), he's real serious sometimes

no yeah, i wouldn't understand the situation you would be in, but i do understand addiction though thankfully i'm not too empathetic if you understand

pusillanimous individual no offense but i mean that doesn't seem very sad. maybe i just didnt listen to enough of it? eh.

I don't know what is is about this song from Medal of Honor Frontline, but I've always bawled when I hear it at the right(or wrong) time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKa0oq6EvsQ

Sun Kil Moon - Heron Blue
Devotchka - How It Ends

my stepmom used to be addicted to like, painkillers and stuff
she was talking about it with me one day
and how her brother and dad are still... doing it
and I like, had to try seriously hard to not just start bawling right in front of her

you know gay people can't get married to their partners in most states, right?
maybe you didn't listen enough; he doesn't actually start talking about it until a little bit into it
discrimination
stuff
I mean, if you aren't gay, then no, you probably aren't going to care

Raindrop Prelude is a really good one as well.

I don't know if it affects you guys or not. I grew up listening to johnny cash; this song hits the heart strings.

And yes, I know it's originally by Nine Inch Nails. I prefer this cover.

I don't know I assumed that most gay people didn't care about what the like few idiots that still think there's something wrong with gays thought about them. I mean I know they can't get married which makes no sense but it's obviously not going to be like that for long. This kind of applies to both sides when I say I don't even know why marriage is such a big loving deal anymore. I mean it's probably because I've never actually wanted to get married but I mean can't you just say "oh we're a couple. the end."

That whole thing was actually kind of off topic, but still relevant.

the thing is though is that there's more than a few idiots, there's LEGIONS of people who are prejudiced against gays, and it will be a long time if we just pass it off saying that "it will clear itself up".

I guess you're right. I personally know someone who (quote from him) "hates all gay people" for no other reason than he is a Mormon, which by the way I'm pretty sure was just forced on him by his parents. I guess I can see why that would be sad, but I personally would most likely not give a single forget if I was gay.
