I am trying to run a video with Advanced Video Codec (AVC) for video and Speex for audio. Apparently VLC Player used to work with the video codec, but it seems to no longer be supported. The audio codec was never supported, and now even though it appears to play, the audio and video does not actually play. I have heard of some codecs that can run the audio, but can not pinpoint the video as Google relates "codec" to "coding," giving me another codec using the phrase "Advanced Video Coding."
Point being, I need the codecs for Advanced Video Codec and Speex, as well as where to put whatever files I obtain.
