I've got no issue with you as creators saying that you want to run this zombie-style, that's completely your prerogative. What I do find fault with however, is you suggesting that it cannot be done in any stimulating manner without the undead. I don't need to point out all the reasons you're an idiot for saying so, others in the topic have covered that well enough.
Just keep in mind that you could have the prettiest little brickscape and bite-size houses, but if you're expecting to achieve anything more than a pathetic attempt at an RP(G) with just that, you're in for a nasty surprise.
