If it really was an issue with a dynamic IP address, then that would be extremely unusual because even with a dynamic IP address your address should not change every couple minutes; it should be more in a range of days. You could host without port-forwarding and with a dynamic IP address because the UpnP worked for you, which is not always the case for everyone. |
