RPG/RP Unoriginality in Blockland Rant

They are tremendously over-used and are usually poorly made and generic. There are so many great RPG ideas, medieval themed, space themed, ocean explorer themed, yet, just because they take little to no effort and are conviently made, people make them, here's a list of all of the DayZ clones/Infected Bitch Tycoons out there. Not to mention they are flooding General Discussion.
For clarification, this thread revolves around the idea of an infection and or a resource frequent collecting styled RPG.

Here's the thing, these aren't bad, but they are unoriginal and easily made, there was little to no designing effort on the plot, with the same idea of survival every time and running away from some infected starfish.
The verdict: Please establish new original ideas, there are many, many potential RPG ideas, you just have to think of them.

The SPO project that I am apart of, entitled 'SPO's Red Block Nightmare' is an adaptation of the standard zombie RPG.
It is a western theme which is innovated from other RPGs in the past which have worked.
No one, and I mean no one, has ever made a western zombie rpg in the history of blockland.
So the boys and I at SPO have been original.

The thread was made for zombie/survival/apocalyptic RPGs in Blockland.

Not every zombie survival is unoriginal.
My suggestion is for you people is, the old zombie movies.
also maybe change the zombies' habitat, no big cities, no downtowns.
how about a disease that stroke out in africa?
