This is a topic about a server Im making called Assault of The Cybermen, based on Doctor Who. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BLOCKHEAD VS BOT, THIS IS SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT Jobs might be open, but right now im good. |SERVER INFO| The server is not dedicated as of yet, as I do not have enough administrators or manpower to leave it up 24/7. This will change in the future, but for now I will be hosting it at certain times. It will use the new default bots, this will make it very easy to make the Cybermen. |PLOT| You are the Doctors Companions, and are stranded in an outer space facility, several lightyears away from any help or civilization. The TARDIS is broken, and you have to survive long enough for the shuttle's power to fully charge. You aren't armed, and even worse, there are Cybermen after you. You either survive or die, because either way, at least one of you is going to die. |HOW IT WORKS| There are several Cybermen (number not determined yet), and a number of player, or the Doctor's Companions. Their goal is to survive a total of 10 minutes and not let the Cybermen kill you. The last minute of the round, you have to defend the shuttle from the Cybermen. If you fail to do this, the shuttle explodes, killing all of the survivors and Cybermen. The Cybermen are zombie holes, and can shock you. |GAMEMODES| NOTE: THIS IS JUST AN IDEA AND NOT PROMISED TO BE IN THE FINAL VERSION Several gamemodes are possible, the gamemodes would be voted upon by the players each round there is one(if the online admin decides). COMMANDER - One player would command all the Cybermen. If all the players arent dead by the end, they confront him and get a weapon to destroy the Commander with. If they defeat him, they win. If not, they die and the Commander gets to pick the next game mode ( cant be Commander again). DOGFIGHT - Players would each control an individual fighter ship, and they woul dhave to avoid and destroy the Cybermen fighterships. |PICTURES| |JOBS| Logo - |ADDITIONAL FACTS| This is expected to be up by the end of the year, if not earlier. |

seems cool So essentially, it's like zombie survival Anything else? like what weapons they get? What the map will be like? There are no weapons, but there are traps, secret passages, and other stuff that you can set up to delay, stop or kill them. You have to actually think instead of mindlessly killing them. By the end of the year I mean to implement everything I want to be in it, such as gamemodes, maybe a shop system, etc. |

I applaud. --- End quote --- Purchasing power-up type things. Every round you survive you would get 10 points, let say. You could spend those points on minor power-ups, like every round you could find a terminal and temporarily take control of a cyberman and have it open doors, delay other cybermen, and when the time is up the cyberman dies. How ever, you could only do this once every round. |
